Main Card - The Journeyer

I am the Journeyer. I accompany you on every journey you take in search of answers. I fly into the realm of Spirit and encounter the beings who dwell there - the ancestors of all people and the guardians of our inherited wisdom and knowledge. I am the one who conducts you between the worlds, through the caves of inspiration, taking you on journeys to find guidance for all that you seek. Often I am silent, but when requested I can bring my wide knowledge of journeying to bear on your question.

This represents you, the seeker of answers as you travel in-between worlds, crossing from one reality to another. Light blazes from the head, crossing between the worlds and returns with wisdom from Spirit that hovers just beyond normal human perception.

At the bottom of the deck, is the Ancestor of Illusion card.

I am the ancestor of Illusion. I can show you the true nature of those things around us that may appear beautiful, but have a darker side hidden behind them. Life has many aspects that seem other than they truly are - my deep insight can uncover the reality behind this surface sheen. I will walk beside you and ensure you are not led astray by appearances before you reach your true goal or your true resting place. Illusions can trap us very easily - we are only too willing to be ensnared because the truth is something we find uncomfortable. This card serves to teach us the folly of such wilful self-deception. The truth is always available to anyone who is patient enough to stalk it. With this Ancestor by our side, we are led to recognize the beauty of Truth and the deceptive character of falsehood. Once we choose this insight, we will never opt for delusion again.

Combined meaning - If you wish to know the truth, go within to the depths of your silence. Go into the Void that is within you. Allow the inner wisdom to unveil the illusions. Do not believe in anything that seems to be on the surface or whatever that you see in the external world. Allow time to settle and let the Truth be revealed to you.
